One of the alternative names for the twelve deities of the Yellow Road's six deities. Traditionally considered auspicious, suitable for marriages and business openings.

Baoguang is one of the auspicious deities among the twelve deities of the Yellow Road. Traditionally, auspicious days of the Yellow Road are considered favorable for all activities, and as one of its representatives, Baoguang is further endowed with the imagery of preciousness and brightness. In old almanacs, this day was often seen as an opportune time for celebratory and initiating activities, such as weddings, the opening of new shops or businesses, in the belief that one could absorb its auspicious and bright aura, bringing good omens.
