Purchase or adopt livestock and poultry.

Nàxù refers to the purchase or adoption of livestock and poultry, such as cattle, sheep, pigs, and chickens, to increase productivity for a household or farm. In the past, livestock were a vital source of property and labor. Therefore, it was traditionally done on an auspicious day to ensure the newly introduced animals would adapt well, grow healthily, and bring good fortune. Modern equivalents include acquiring pets, introducing breeding stock, or purchasing birds and animals for farming.
