Seasonal Virtue Day (Shí Dé)

Each of the four seasons has a Shidé day, traditionally considered auspicious for blessings, rewards, and banquets.

Shidé is an auspicious star in the traditional Chinese almanac, with a specific day designated for each of the four seasons. Almanacs traditionally hold that this day is suitable for activities of a reciprocal or celebratory nature, such as offering prayers for blessings, distributing rewards, and hosting banquets. Its meaning is tied to the harmonious qi of the season and is believed to help gather blessings and joy.
