Tiangang and Hekui are a pair of opposing inauspicious stars. In the traditional system of stellar deities, the day of Tiangang is considered inauspicious, with a nature similar to Hekui but differing in direction or timing. Traditionally, this day is also avoided for long journeys and marriage ceremonies. It is believed that undertaking important matters on a Tiangang day may lead to misfortune or accidents, so significant affairs are typically scheduled to avoid it.
