Earth Talisman (Tǔ Fú)
A land deity akin to Tǔ Fǔ, traditionally taboos for earth-breaking, ground-opening, and construction.
Tǔ Fú is a type within the land deity system, similar in nature to Tǔ Fǔ, symbolizing a concentration or active duty of the land deity's power. Traditionally, undertaking earth-moving projects on such days is believed to easily offend these deities. Therefore, almanacs often mark these days as inauspicious, primarily to avoid earth-breaking (such as digging foundations or graves) and all forms of construction, with the purpose of respecting the land and avoiding bad luck.
