Yang Cuo (Yang Error)

Opposite of Yin Cuo, traditionally also considered inauspicious for marriage.

Yang Cuo days are the counterpart of 'Yin Cuo' days, both representing periods of yin-yang misalignment and disrupted qi flow. Traditional date selection theory emphasizes yin-yang balance, considering days when yang or yin energy operates incorrectly unsuitable for rituals requiring alignment with celestial timing. Since marriage symbolizes the union of male (yang) and female (yin) principles, old almanacs typically list both Yang Cuo and Yin Cuo days as inauspicious for weddings, to avoid holding ceremonies on these days and prevent disharmony or setbacks in the marital relationship.
