Yang De
Opposite of Yin De, traditionally suitable for bestowing kindness, granting favors, and conducting fair, open transactions.
In contrast to the hidden good deeds of 'Yin De' (hidden virtue), Yang De (yang virtue) refers to open, public acts of goodness and benevolence. Traditionally, Yang De is believed to bring immediate, visible blessings and social reputation. Therefore, almanacs often consider 'Yang De' to be auspicious, making it a suitable day for good deeds that can be done openly and praised by others, such as publicly granting favors, performing charitable acts, or establishing fair contracts for transactions. It is believed that doing so not only accumulates merit and virtue but also enhances one's personal fame and credibility.
