Yuede

"Yuede" refers to the virtue inherent in the month's five elements. It is one of the most highly weighted auspicious deities in the tongshu. Traditionally, it was believed that on days when Yuede is active, it is particularly suitable for important activities such as groundbreaking construction, prayers, and offering thanks to deities. Moreover, Yuede plays a crucial role: it can mitigate or neutralize the adverse effects brought by other malign influences appearing on the same day, making it extremely valued in date selection.
