It refers to the installation or rebuilding of a stove. The stove is a vital facility for cooking and sustaining a family's livelihood. In traditional belief, it is overseen by a Stove God. Therefore, any work on the stove (installing, repairing, or moving it) is a significant matter and must be done on an auspicious day to show respect and pray for the Stove God's blessings of abundant food and safety for the household.
